我对Dido的认识，开始于那首出名的“WhiteFlag”，好像第一次听到这首歌的时候还是从一张杂集里。不得不承认，这首歌确实是太优秀的作品，以至于我后来听Dido的其他歌曲时都感受不到“White Flag”中的失落。于是我也不再听Dido的歌曲，把她归为平淡的一类。不过新专辑”Safe TripHome”改变了我对Dido的看法，第一次听到网上的泄漏版时，我对她的印象就彻底改变了。她的音乐还是那样安静，但不像我以前感觉的那样无味。

这张”Safe TripHome”中民谣的感觉确实好，舒缓低沉，不会让人感到紧张不安，但是也不能给你其他民谣歌手的欢快。一点点爵士的味道融入在专辑里，却不像正宗爵士那样高亢急促。听这样一张专辑，应该尽量拒绝外界的乾扰，那样你能看到Dido站在你面前，对着麦克风轻轻弹唱。
